We have been looking at tile etc. for the past couple weeks and today the guy was here with the feature tile color we finally agreed on. Our shower was just worn out so that all comes out. Going to put in all high toilets and ceramic floor. When that is done the bedrooms all get new carpet. They don't make what we put in the rest of the house 3 years ago but we can get a good color to go along with it. The feature tile is that glass tile in shades of blue and gray. The bath is small so you can't get too carried away. _________________ As you go around in life, make sure you're going the right way. |

be careful with those high stools. You get used to them and then when you need to use the standard height - surprise surprise! I changed both of ours to the tall ones several years ago and can speak from experience |

We have them in Fla. and had one up here but we will now have both up here. My knees just don't like that low stuff anymore. _________________ As you go around in life, make sure you're going the right way. |

It's done except for the new med cabinet that won't be in till the first week of Aug. I still need to paint what wall there is not covered with tile. Sometime next week we are supposed to have the 3 bedrooms carpet replaced. _________________ As you go around in life, make sure you're going the right way. |

They tore ours down to the studs and we knew before we moved in there had been termites that had been treated. There was no active ones in there now but they found where they had been. Just too nice a spot behind a shower that was put in between 30 and 40 years ago. That took some new wood and held things up a bit. They also found there had once been ceramic tile on the walls but had been covered with that sheet stuff you can get in kits. NOW we have blue board on those walls and subway tile with a stripe of the new little glass tiles. Those glass tile are the cats meow when you want to add color. That came out great. I still need to paint and decorate but first I need to clean everything before it's put back into the rooms and closets. Therefore the whole house is a mess with furniture, "stuff" and clothes on hangers. I'm glad we are as near done as we are. The new carpet in the bedrooms had to be a slightly different color as what we got before they had stopped making. We sent a sample down to the mills in Ga. and they came up with as close as they could. Not too bad since it's in all the bedrooms.[/list] _________________ As you go around in life, make sure you're going the right way. |

Have you gotten it all finished now, PBH?
We need to redo our bathroom. Won't be able to start until early next year, but plan to replace the tub, sink and toilet. I'd like to have a dual flush toilet but am having trouble finding one that's not an elongated seat model. |
